  • “We had a fantastic family time here once again. Our 6th or 7th time? The family time, nature, cottage filled with the things we need to make tasty food, the symphony of birds, chipmunks, trees and of course the evolving harvest moon. We really appreciated all the new upgrades this year (cutlery, dishes, knife set, pots, baking pans, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster etc.). The cottage was also very clean as always! Very best wishes.”

  • “You have a lovely cottage! Your kitchen is very well equipped and your barbeque works well…I still can't believe your well water tastes so good! Thanks for providing some excellent books. …Thanks for having so many new items like plates, glasses, cutlery, pots in abundance and yes of course a dishwasher! Such attention to domestic details are not found in every rental and make staying at your cottage most relaxing and enjoyable!”
    Michael M. - 2022
  • “Thank you for a wonderful 2 weeks. The cottage was perfect and conveniently located to all amenities! Baptiste Lake is beautiful! Loved seeing & hearing the loons, swimming in the lake and watching our poodle make friends with the local chipmunks. Think my daughter broke the Bancroft Village Playhouse Theatre record - she attended "Mamma Mia" 3 times! Great summer family vacation! Cheers!”

  • “The moment we saw the welcome note and bottle of wine we thought we were going to have a special week. And we weren’t disappointed! Appreciated your help in finding local attractions and ensuring our stay was perfect! We also loved to paddle & hike, swim, enjoy beautiful views and sometimes just relax. Lake Baptiste offers plenty of each.”

  • “Peaceful moments overlooking the lake, the mist rising, the sun peeking over the hilltops. Gentle waters rippling through the trees below. Visits by “Charlie” the chipmunk and “Lonely” the loon. The cozy comforts of the cottage – each piece of furniture or knick-knack could tell a story. We love the gentleness of this place. You have a treasure here.”

    Nancy M.
  • “What a wonderful cottage and lake! Cottage so fully equipped and lake so sparking clean. Went all over the lake in the canoe. Had guests to join us and they all declared this is the best cottage they have ever stayed at. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Bought fudge in Maynooth. Had a birthday party for our grandson. We had a lovely time. Loons calling each other, chipmunks we couldn’t catch, swimming in the water…we will be back next year!”
    Deborah P.
  • “Thanks Janice. Our third visit was our best yet. Perfect weather, loons, herons, humming birds and fish! Can’t think of a better place on earth to isolate and hunker down during this covid madness. Thanks again.”

We slept in, stayed up, swam, danced, ate and so much more. Your place is cozy and quiet and perfect for restoration. The setting is inspiring…what a beautiful place.”
